How to play Golf Solitaire

Choose a round of Golf Solitaire and settle into its rules. Remove all 35 tableau cards. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Choose a comfortable screen position before beginning. Use the example below to understand a decision.

Your goal

Step by step

1. Take an exposed bottom card one rank above or below the waste top, allowing ace–king wrapping.
2. Click an exposed card or eligible pair to remove it.
3. Draw when useful.
4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Controls

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. A careful first action helps you become familiar with the layout. Use the visible help when you are unsure of the next input.

Watch out for this

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round.
